Hey! Next Chapter strange Norwegian Alrik here. I apologize for the lack of updates in our news section since our soft opening, but rest assured, Next Chapter is still going strong!
We’ve recently made some important changes to our operations, so I wanted to take this opportunity to give you an update. Let’s dive in!
Changes to Our Mixed-Gender Shared Dormitory Room
Our 1st-floor room, Kounose Red, which previously served as a shared dormitory, will now primarily be available as a private room for larger groups and families.
However, we still want to accommodate solo travelers on a budget. Therefore, we will continue to accept “single bed in mixed-gender shared dormitory” reservations whenever the room is not booked as a private room. In this case, the room will be shared with other visitors, and reservations will be made on a per-bed basis.
To reserve only a “single bed in mixed-gender shared dormitory” we recommend contacting us directly through our website form. For those who prefer to book via Booking.com, please note that dormitory reservations will generally only be available 1-2 weeks in advance of your intended stay. This is due to limitations in how the room can be listed on the Booking.com platform.
